I love Archer's short stories, but the spelling errors that occur during the conversion to the Kindle format are numerous. Apparently the computer spell checker that was used changes "the" to "die" quite frequently. Poor spelling and punctuation permeates the Kindle offerings and really make me second guess my decision to go with Kindle books. I would give the bound book 5 stars, but the Kindle version only rates 3.

Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite authors. This is an excellent compilation of his stories. Sometimes I just like to grab a book and have a short read. Good work, Jeffrey Archer!
If you haven't read the author's other books of short stories, this book is excellent. However, because the majority of the stories have been included in his other books of shorts stories, you will find the vast majority of the stories in "Collected Short Stories" are repeats of his other selections.
Jeffrey Archer is one of my favourite authors. I feel bad that this author is not given his due in the americas. For that matter even short stories are not given their due. Buy this! you will love it.

Jeffrey Archer is a very good author who crafts great stories. His enormous talent with language matches his ability to be a wonderful story teller. I highly recommend this collection of short stories.
Jeffrey Archer writes some good book. Have all of his. Even those he wrote while in prison.
This collection shows Mr. Archer's range and skill. Some of the stories have surprise endings that will make you laugh and/or fill you with surprise. They are all set in England, many of them in the Midlands (where I come from), a few years ago, but you don't have to be old and English to enjoy them. I set myself a schedule of one story a day, and often exceeded that. This is a very difficult book to put down
